A gift full of precious memories
You are in a difficult time. A loved one has recently passed away, and now you have to say goodbye. The grieving process is difficult, and no one knows how long it will take before you have put everything back in its place. No one can tell you exactly what you need at this time - only you know that. You feel when something is good for you and what can help you in processing this loss.
Perhaps you want to fill the empty space in your home with a tangible memory. Perhaps you would like to place a stuffed animal on the chair or couch where your loved one used to sit, or have a pillow or blanket made from clothing that evokes fond memories. These types of products are personal and are not ready-made and waiting for you in the store.
How do I get started?
We start by determining the type of product to be made – this could be a stuffed animal, a decorative pillow, or a collage in a photo frame. Together, we discuss the possibilities and the price.
I will create a suitable memorial product using items of clothing chosen by you that evoke memories of your loved one, specific fabrics or colours that have a special meaning.
Together, we design a personal and unique item. Details and any adjustments are discussed, such as adding materials or retaining characteristic details of the garments.
During the process, I work carefully and with respect for the emotional value of the garments. The integrity of the memories is always preserved.
You will be kept up to date on the process. I will regularly send photos to ensure that the result is as desired. If not, we will discuss the possibilities for adjustments together.
